I finally saw The Hunger Games and it was very good. Definitely one of the best adaptations I’ve seen. It had the same quality of looking exactly right as the Harry Potter movies do (aside from the casting of Haymitch who I saw as looking more like John C. Reiley, although Woody Harrelson was good). I hope Gary Ross will direct the next two films but if he doesn’t then I would like to see Neill Blomkamp or Gábor Csupó direct them.
